Hannah Peha

Hannah Peha is from Walla Walla, Washington. She is currently an undergraduate at Washington State University studying Agricultural Biotechnology. She will complete her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Plant Sciences in the spring of 2023. Additionally, she is minoring in Horticulture and German and a member of the Honors College. She is also an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture, Human and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) and a member of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resource and Related Sciences (MANRRS). In the lab, she is currently assisting with a project working on spot form net blotch. She hopes to help identify a gene within the pathogen responsible for infecting barley. She is grateful to be working with people who value the important things in life, like beer! In her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies, attending WSU volleyball games, traveling, walking her dog, eating Ferdinand’s ice cream, group fitness classes, and game nights.
