My name is Maddison Heine and I am in my senior year of the Material Science and Engineering program at WSU. I chose MSE because it allows me to combine my curiosity of the physical world and apply it to engineering problems. My interest in nuclear technology has been developing since my freshman year of college while interning over the summers as a chemical engineer on the Hanford site. I am grateful to be able to apply that background into my future research. Outside of school and work I enjoy spending time in nature including; snowboarding, and hiking.
