It should only take&nbsp;<strong>5-10 minutes<\/strong>, with an optional&nbsp;<strong>~5-minute section<\/strong>&nbsp;for data validation at the end.&nbsp;Your responses will remain confidential and will be reported only in aggregate. Please share this survey with any colleagues or friends who are OTs, OTAs, PTs, PTAs, or SLPs and could offer valuable insights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your willingness to contribute to the development of this tool! If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to the project manager, Courtney Celian&nbsp;(<a href=\"mailto:ccelian@sralab.org\">ccelian@sralab.org<\/a>)&nbsp;or the PI, Miriam Dr. Rafferty&nbsp;(<a href=\"mailto:mrafferty@sralab.org\">mrafferty@sralab.org<\/a>).&nbsp;This study title Design, validation, and testing a survey tool for the Design for AcceleRated Translation of Rehabilitation Technology (DA(RT)2) is approved by Northwestern University IRB (STU00221033).<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h2 id=\"unique-id-1__77586\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Speech and Language Remote Monitoring<\/button>\r\n    <\/h2>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__77586\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>The Accelerating Research in Cognitive Communication Health (ARCCH) Lab at Washington State University (WSU) is looking for participants with and without a history of acquired brain injury (stroke, traumatic brain injury, etc.) and neurodegenerative disorders (mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer\u2019s Disease, Parkinson\u2019s Disease) interested in a part of a study. We are studying how cell phone surveys can help us learn about people\u2019s health and communication. We want to see if this way of collecting information is easy, useful, and accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this study you will be asked to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\" start=\"1\">\n<li>Lab Visit: Spend 2.5-3 hours in our lab for tests and surveys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Home Task: Complete 3 talking and listening tasks a day and 70 minutes of additional questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily Questions: Fill out 3 short surveys each day (about 5 minutes each) for 14 days. We will send them at the same time every day (morning, noon, night).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow-Up Visit: Call or Zoom to give feedback on the study by answering questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants can earn up to $125 in VISA giftcards which are provided throughout the study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study (IRB #20778) is approved by the WSU Human Research Protection Program (contact at <a href=\"mailto:irb@wsu.edu\">irb@wsu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact the principal investigator (PI), Amy Kemp, PhD CCC-SLP at <a href=\"mailto:amy.kemp1@wsu.edu\">amy.kemp1@wsu.edu<\/a> or 509-368-6894 for more information or questions. The ARCCH Lab partners with the Unmasking Brain Injury Project to support people with brain injury in creating and displaying their masks.
