Research Interests

  • BIM–BEM Integration and Multi-Scale Energy Modeling, focusing on building-to-urban scale workflows, energy efficiency in U.S. climate zones, and building-to-grid strategies for resilient performance.
  • Sustainable Materials for the Built Environment, exploring innovative solutions such as friendly rubberized concrete to enhance sustainability, durability, and energy efficiency.

Professional Experience

  • Teaching Assistant, Washington State University: Supported courses in Construction Graphics (CAD & Revit Labs), Structural Steel Design, and Foundation Engineering through lab instruction, grading, and course material development.
  • Research Assistant, WSU–PNNL Collaboration (DGRP): Developed BIM-BEM workflows for Continuous Building Energy Modeling (CBEM), conducted energy simulations, tested low-cost operational strategies, and generated preliminary data for NSF proposal development.
  • Research Assistant, Psychological Safety Training Project: Contributed to training module development, conducted focus groups and one-on-one interviews with industry professionals, and synthesized findings to strengthen safety culture practices in construction and engineering.
