The aim of our laboratory is to investigate how various factors such as nutrition, physical inactivity, and other environmental factors are mechanistically linked to cardiovascular and metabolic\u00a0 disease. Expanding our current knowledge on how these factors affect disease progression is imperative for the development of early detection biomarkers, high precision risk assessment tools, and effective treatment strategies.
