CHEW Lab: Coalition for Healthy and Equitable Workplaces

Get Involved in Research!

Although much of our research is conducted with graduate students, we rely heavily on the contributions of our stellar undergraduate research assistant.  Here are some ways that undergraduate students have contributed to our research:

  • Project design (surveys, field studies, and lab experiments)
  • Qualtrics and HTML programming for web-based surveys
  • Data collection
  • Data entry
  • Data analysis
  • Preparation of organizational feedback reports
  • Conference presentations
  • Co-authored book chapters
  • Co-authored journal articles

It is rare for undergraduates at other most universities to do more than assist with data collection and data entry.  So, these represent unique opportunities for undergraduates, especially those who are looking for apply to graduate school.

Some graduate programs my students have gone on to attend:

  • University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (PhD, I/O Psychology)
  • University of Connecticut (PhD, I/O Psychology)
  • Pacific University (PsyD)
  • Portland State University (PhD, I/O Psychology)
  • University of California, Santa Barbara (PhD, Cognitive Psychology)
  • Eastern Washington University (MSW)
