Lab Facilities

EARL is a wet lab equipped with an Olympus SZX7 stereo microscope and Olympus BX43 light microscope for analysis. The lab has an extensive botanical reference collection focused on taxa of Alaska, the Great Basin, and the Columbia Plateau.

EARL lab members have access to  facilities in the Department of Anthropology including fume hoods for chemical processing and a walk-in fridge for sediment core and other sample storage.
