Each participating student receives a $6,300 fellowship and each participating faculty member receives a $3,250 grant. Fellowships and grants are funded by the private <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scandesignfoundation.org\/\">Scan-Design<\/a> Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cas.wsu.edu\/\">CAS<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/honors.wsu.edu\/\">Honors<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/vcea.wsu.edu\/\">VCEA<\/a>\u00a0 @ <a href=\"https:\/\/vcea.wsu.edu\/oc\/\">WSU Bremerton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/everett.wsu.edu\/\">WSU Everett<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/wsu.edu\">WSU Pullman<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tricities.wsu.edu\/rfi?gad_source=1&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsJqZnKKshQMViIzCCB3sCwEUEAAYASAAEgK2w_D_BwE\">WSU Tri-Cities<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouver.wsu.edu\/\">WSU Vancouver<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1064 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-labs\/uploads\/sites\/2214\/2025\/06\/WSU_STARS_Scholars_2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"396\" height=\"223\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Established <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/2214\/2024\/04\/STARS_Se.pdf\">STARS<\/a> program, which places WSU students in\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/liu.se\/en\">Sweden<\/a> to study and conduct <a href=\"https:\/\/labs.wsu.edu\/europe-lab\/nsf-ires_computing_flyer\/\">international scientific computing research<\/a>. Each participating student receives a $12,000 fellowship.
