A substantial portion of this mobilized N and P flows into streams and rivers, and eventually down to coastal waters.&nbsp; Along the way, these these nutrients alter ecosystems, biogeochemical cycling, and the balance of atmospheric greenhouse gases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/labs.wsu.edu\/gcwblab\/gcwb-group\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"204\">Our research group<\/a> uses experimental, observational, and modeling approaches to elucidate processes governing the mobilization, transport, transformation, and ecosystem\/biogeochemical impacts of land-based N, P, and other bio-active elements.
