Hydraulics and water resources at WSU Hydrogeology and hydrology

Our Goal

Water is crucial for life and ensuring that society will have enough of it in the future at sufficient quality is our mission. All water is connected so we don’t just study one aspect (groundwater, lakes, streams, etc…) and the group here at WSU is committed to helping you understand the fundamentals of these processes and how they’re connected. Water is essential for life and there is a multitude of questions out there that need to be answered to ensure we have enough high quality water in the future. Poke around this site, see what we’re up to and please let us know if you have questions.

We constantly revising and updating this page but please don’t hesitate to contact us with additional questions.

Pore-scale concentration contours and velocity vectors for multi-domain reaction simulation. Just one of the many tools at our disposal.
