Ryan is an ecosystem ecologist and aquatic biogeochemist. His experience includes working at the forefront of the rapidly evolving field of ecological forecasting, determining drivers of methane emissions in lakes, and understanding the dynamics of aquatic biogeochemistry under shifting oxygen conditions.
