By connecting materials, data, and processing, we develop engineering solutions for microbial control and food protection, process verification and hazard detection, and valorization of food and agricultural waste streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Research Themes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"theme-biomaterials\">Biomaterials &amp; Biointerface Engineering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>for microbial control and food protection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We engineer food-compatible biomaterials and biointerfaces that control interactions among microbes, active agents, and surfaces across food and agricultural systems.
