WSU student team selected for NASA “Big Idea”

Congratulations to the WSU student team for being selected for the NASA Big Idea contest.

The team from WSU’s HYPER hydrogen research lab will be working with NOME and others to study the effect of leidenfrost to clean space suits. They will be using ash collected in Pullman from the Mt. St. Helens eruption as a lunar regolith simulant.

Congratulations team!  This story was picked up by WSU today also.

An article including video was also recently published in the Spokane Spokesman-Review.
