I have several years of undergrad research experience with microstructure characterization in metals with Dr. David Field, and am now co-advised under Dr. John McCloy and Dr. Field. I am working on UO2 as an analogue for used nuclear fuels to study effects of microstructure and composition on the dissolution properties in varying environmental repository conditions.
