Summary:

Emily is a recent Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Washington State University (WSU) Spokane. Prior to attending WSU, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Eastern Washington University. While she ultimately wishes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist, she has always expressed a keen interest in research. Since joining Dr. Paine’s research team in 2017, Emily has worked as study assistant and study coordinator for several of Dr. Paine’s natural product-drug interaction studies, including goldenseal, green tea, and the current kratom study. It is her hope that Dr. Paine’s groundbreaking research will one day allow her and fellow pharmacists around the world to be able to confidently and thoroughly assess natural product-drug interactions to better serve their patients.
