Deena is the Program Manager of the Center of Excellence for Natural Product Drug Interaction Research (NaPDI Center), funded by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. The NaPDI Center provides leadership in the study of natural product-drug interactions, with the ultimate goal of developing a definitive approach to determine the clinical relevance of pharmacokinetic interactions between natural products and conventional medications. As Program Manager, this includes coordinating a multidisciplinary team of clinical pharmacologists, natural products chemists, biomedical informaticists, and health communications experts, while managing the daily operations of the NaPDI Center to ensure smooth and successful completion of milestones.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
