PEMD group is concentrated on the research on <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">topologies, modulations, and controls of high power converters<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-weight: normal\"> in <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">renewable energy<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-weight: normal\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">motor drive<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-weight: normal\"> applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>One <strong>Research Assistant (RA)<\/strong> position for Ph.D. study starting in <strong>Fall 2025<\/strong> is available in Dr. Gao&#8217;s group. An earned master&#8217;s degree in electric or power engineering is preferred<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><em>One <strong>Teaching Assistant (TA)<\/strong> position for master&#8217;s study starting in <strong>Fall 2025<\/strong> is available in Dr. Gao&#8217;s group.
