Population Genomics of microorganisms and their hosts in health and disease People

Enrique Jimenez Schwarzkopf (PhD student)

Enrique Jimenez is a graduate student at Washington State University. Enrique is a statistician by training, and his main interest is in the development and application of methods to biological problems. Thus far, his work has been focused on clustering analysis with genetic data. He’s currently looking to improve on his existing background and add to it some knowledge in machine learning, database design and management, and bayesian modeling to resolve fundamental problems in population genetics. At the moment, Enrique is interested in developing his skills in statistics, informatics and data management to develop a comprehensive skill set that will allow him to tackle important problems in biology.
