COVID-19 Research Collaboration
We are interested to provide our expertise and collaborate with clinicians and basic science researchers working on SARS-CoV-2 virus-related research on the following areas.
Our lab is willing to offer our LC-MS/MS proteomics and metabolomics expertise to COVID-19 related research collaborations. We use Waters Xevo-TQ-XS and Thermo QE-HF (Orbitrap) for targeted and untargeted proteomics/metabolomics work. These tools can be utilized for the disease diagnosis as well as biomarker identification and quantification for monitoring potential therapeutic interventions.
Our lab can also provide support on evaluating pharmacokinetics and safety of the potential drugs (hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, remdesivir, and other anti-infectives) for COVID-19 using in vitro and in silico models, including physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models.
If you are interested to work with us, please contact Bhagwat Prasad.
