Research Insight

From the success of the Murrow Lab’s scholarship, faculty, students, and industry leaders collaborate using a variety of research methods to pursue groundbreaking research on advertising effects, public perceptions, and message campaigns. Our projects examine the psychological effects of media and how brands’ responsibility and community leaders can better connect with audiences to promote decision-making.

Student Participants

Students interested in participating in academic research can do so through the Murrow Research Participation System. Our SONA page allows Edward R. Murrow students to enroll and participate in various research studys.

Curious about the Purpose-Driven Comm Lab? By participating in our studies, you’ll help researchers better understand attention, emotion, and decision-making in how brands—corporate, nonprofit, or public—can act as ethical and socially responsive agents, and how audiences interpret those actions!

New Participants: Please click on the “Request an account here” link at the bottom left of this page of the Murrow Research Participation System to create an account on this system. You will be required to use your WSU e-mail address to use this system.
