Lab: <\/strong> Rudman Lab<\/td> Mentor(s): <\/strong> Dr. Seth Rudman<\/td> Topic: <\/strong> The genomic basis of phenotypic variation and rapid adaptation<\/td> About: <\/strong> The Rudman lab at WSU-V seeks undergraduate research technicians to assist with research funded by the National Institutes of Health. This work combines genomics, host-microbiome interactions, and field experiments to understand genotype-to-phenotype linkages and the genomic basis of evolutionary change. Students will assist with lab-based and field-based experiments.<\/td> Requirements: <\/strong> Strong interest in genetics or evolutionary biology and a desire to conduct scientific research. The candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and able to work as a part of a research team.
