Congratulations to the Sharma Lab for Securing Two NIH R01 Grants to Advance Nanomedicines for Brain and Eye Disorders
R01 #1 ($2.6M over 5 years): This project will advance our 2-deoxyglucose dendrimer (2DG-D) technology for precise, targeted delivery of therapeutics to injured neurons, with the goal of developing effective treatments for pediatric traumatic brain injury.
R01 #2 ($2.6M over 5 years): This grant focuses on mixed-layered glycodendrimer-based therapies to target and treat corneal neovascularization, a sight-threatening process underlying numerous ocular diseases where current treatment options remain limited.
