He loves to discuss science and how tools such as mass spectrometry can be used to further our understanding of life on earth. And, yes, in another life he will work as a volcanologist and study the gases (using tools like mass spectrometry) that are emitted by them. In recent years, she has overseen management of our metabolomics instrumentation.
