The project required students to respond to a site containing a water feature while balancing multiple design considerations, including climate, circulation, spatial organization, human activity, and the systematic use of linear and planar elements. Rather than using SketchUp simply as a drafting tool, he employed it as a medium for design exploration, testing ideas, refining spatial relationships, and communicating his vision through a comprehensive architectural presentation.
