  • Dr. Winuthayanon was invited to present her research findings at the University of Texas San Antonio, Cell & Molecular Biology Seminar Series, San Antonio, TX, Feb 17, 2019.

  • Dr. Winuthayanon was invited to serve as a discussion leader at the Gordon Research Conference: Mammalian Reproduction, Lucca, Italy, August 2, 2018.
    • Title: Epithelial Cell-Specific Roles of Estrogen in Reproduction
  • Dr. Winuthayanon was invited to present her research findings as a keynote speaker at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH/NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC, June 22, 2018.

  • Dr. Winuthayanon was invited to present her research findings at the 51th Gene Families & Isozymes annual meeting in Kona, HI, Dec 2-8, 2017.
    • Title: Epithelial Cell-Specific Function of Estrogen Receptor a (Esr1) in the Female Reproductive Tract Before and After Fertilization
  • Gerardo Herrera (senior undergrad student) presented his research poster at the ABRCMS (Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students) meeting in Phoenix, AZ, Nov 1-4, 2017.
    • Title: Estrogen Signaling Pathway in the Vaginal Epithelial Cells Is Required for Normal Neutrophil Infiltration and Maintenance of Tissue Integrity
    • Gerardo won $300 for an Outstanding Presentation Award.
  • Dr. Li was a judge for poster and oral presentation platforms at the ABRCMS meeting in Phoenix, AZ, Nov 1-4, 2017.
  • Dr. Winuthayanon was invited to present her research at the Gordon Research Conference: Fertilization & Activation of Development in July 2017, Holderness, NH.
    • Title: Estrogen Signals: Roles During Pre- and Post-Fertilization in the Mouse Model
  • Dr. Li presented his recent findings at the College of Veterinary Medicine Post-doctoral Research Symposium, WSU in April 2017. He received the first prize with $500 travel fund!
    • Title: Estrogen function in regulating semen coagulation and liquefaction in vivo
  • Dr. Li gave a talk for his research on semen liquefaction defect in our mouse model at the Society for Study of Reproduction Annual Meeting in July 2016, San Diego, CA.
    • Title: Kallikreins in Mouse Uterus: The Final Essential Step for Semen Liquefaction?

Undergrad and Graduate Students: Research Activities & Presentations

 

 

Brooke Barton, Jenna Rock, and Devinae McNeil presented their research findings on the novel contraceptive at the WSU SURCA 2019. They received “Crimson” Award in the Molecular, Cellular, & Chemical Biology category. Congratulations!!!

Gerardo presented his research poster at the 2017 ABRCMS meeting, Phoenix, AZ. There, he also received an ABRCMS 2017 Presentation Award.

In addition, he also presented this research at WSU SURCA 2018 and won a “Gray” award in the Organismal, Population, Ecological & Evolutionary Biology category. Congratulations, Gerardo!!
