Community Health and Spatial Epidemiology Lab (CHaSE)

The Community Health and Spatial Epidemiology (CHaSE) lab is situated within Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine’s, Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. Located on WSU’s Spokane campus, the lab utilizes advanced geospatial and statistical methodologies to investigate how neighbourhood and population characteristics impact disease occurrence, health care access and health outcomes. The lab also employs interactive data visualization to assist users in understanding and exploring the outcomes of population health research based on geospatial and clinical data.
