To Prospective Graduate Students
Our lab has a large team of graduate students and we have completed recruiting for 2026. At the moment we do not have additional opportunities for graduate students, except for students who may be interested in developing a NSF GRFP application (to start graduate school in Fall 2027). If you are interested in preparing a NSF GRFP this fall please contact our lab.
To Prospective Postdocs
When I have funding for postdocs I seek scientists who have demonstrated high levels of productivity and novelty in their PhD research. I also actively encourage individuals who wish to do postdocs in our lab to acquire their own funding through fellowships and grants.
In general, I give my postdocs considerable flexibility to develop and pursue their own research programs. I also encourage postdocs to take a role in mentoring within my lab,. If you are interested in becoming part of my research team, I encourage you to email me with a cover letter stating your research interests and a CV.
To Prospective Undergraduates
We always have opportunities for undergraduates at WSU to join our lab and assist ongoing projects and, ideally, to develop their own independent projects. Undergraduates have been successful in publishing their research in peer-reviewed journals, and winning awards for excellence in research. If you are interested in working with us please e-mail your interests and resume.
