On July 20, 2018, Tarang Mungole defended his thesis entitled “DEFORMATION MECHANISMS IN MULTILAYER MATERIALS AT SMALL LENGTH SCALES.” Tarang will continue in the group for now, completing a couple of journal papers while he searches for the next adventure.

PhD student, Ben Schuessler, and I recently attended the 3D workshop held at Carnegie Mellon University.  Ben has become quite proficient in using Dream3D and the interaction at the meeting was great for him to make more rapid progress.
