Postdoctor

Dr. Owusu Fordjour Aidoo

Dr. Aidoo began his postdoctoral research in my lab in March 2024. He earned his PhD from University of Bonn in Germany. Before joining Washington State University, he served as a lecturer at University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Ghana. After traveling thousands of miles to the United States, he is now working closely with me and Dave Crowder to develop niche and distributional models for invasive insects, which pose significant concerns in Pacific agriculture. Specifically, Dr. Aidoo is focusing on developing and refining ecological niche models for the Northern Giant Hornet (also known as the murder hornet) and the Great Banded Hornet. We eagerly anticipate the outstanding results from his modeling efforts. Here is his website in Google Scholar and ResearchGate..
