PASPCR 2019
kenneth.porterSoumyadeep received the PanAmerican Society for Pigment Cell Research (PASPCR) travel award to present his research findings on the how circadian clock protein BMAL1 regulates melanin synthesis through MITF. At the PASPCR 2019 Annual Meeting in Barr Harbor, Maine, he took 2nd place for his presentation. Congratulations Soumyadeep!

Panshak received a prestigious Pre-doctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association. This award provides $53,688 of support over two years to allow Panshak to continue his work in harnessing the mechanisms of the circadian clock to attenuate radiation-induced cardiotoxicity in cancer patients.
