Panshak received a prestigious Pre-doctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association. This award provides $53,688 of support over two years to allow Panshak to continue his work in harnessing the mechanisms of the circadian clock to attenuate radiation-induced cardiotoxicity in cancer patients.
Soumyadeep won 1st place in the Graduate Research Student Association (GRSA) sponsored Science bite completion. He was awarded $200 towards travel expenses to attend Science Talk ’19 conference in Portland.
After a very successful 2 day meeting at Sleep and performance research center retreat (SPRC) 2017, Soumyadeep participated and won the people’s choice best poster award and a cash prize of $50.
Panshak has won First place in the poster presentation at the WSU College of Pharmacy Research day. Congratulations on the back-to-back wins Panshak!
Soumyadeep won a merit based travel award of $760 offered by Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) in recognition of the excellence of his research, research progress, and his promise as a long-term contributor to research in topics related to the mission of EMGS.

Congratulations to Panshak for winning 3-Minute Thesis Competition in the College of Pharmacy! He will go on to represent the College of Pharmacy against the other Colleges at the All-University competition in Pullman.
