My lab works on a multidisciplinary science education project titled “Health Equity through Arts-Based Learning (HEAL)“. This project is funded by the National Institutes of Health, Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) (Grant # 1R25GM129814-01). The HEAL project integrates science and art to teach young learners (3rd-5th grades) about infectious disease systems such as West Nile Virus, COVID, and Toxoplasmosis.
