Google Research Scholar Award

Dr. Ji Yun Lee has received a 2022 Google Research Scholar Award. The Google research program supports world-class early-career professors in computer science, engineering, and related fields whose cutting-edge research will impact how future generations use technology. Her project will enable dynamic wildfire risk assessment based on earth observation imagery through deep learning, aimed at creating wildfire resilient communities.
