Our research mainly focus on modeling of membrane deformations, simulations of protein structures, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and multi-scale modeling and their applications in engineering and biomedical processes. Our most recent research topics include how to manipulate the protein structures to facilitate ionic transport in Li batteries, and development of enhanced sampling algorithms to resolve protein conformational changes.
Our research group is actively looking for self-motivated PhD students, please email at jin.liu2@wsu.edu with your CV if you are interested.
