In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, going to the gym, and playing basketball. Mentor: Dr. Subhanshu Gupta. Title: Neural network-based calibration in phased array beamforming
My name is Logan Nehring and I attend Montana State University, where I am pursuing a BS in Mathematics with a Statistics concentration, as well as a Data Science minor. I enjoy analyzing data, finding interesting connections, and explaining the world numerically. When I’m not in class, I go out into the mountains to hike and ski, and I also compete for MSU in triathlon. Mentor: Dr. Arron Carter. Title: Assessing the NDVI-yield relationship across environments for winter wheat
Ayanna is a transfer student from Whatcom Community College and is going to major in Agricultural Biotechnology at Washington State University. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She has 2 dogs, 4 kittens, 6 cows and chickens. In their free time, they also enjoy listening to music and watching comedy movies. Mentor: Dr. Joao Antonangelo. Title: Optimizing lime application rates to improve canola performance in acidic soils
My name is Zacharia Peganov and I am studying computer science at Eastern Washington University. I enjoy working with data and learning about how it can be used to better the world. My hobbies include photography and volleyball. Mentor: Dr. Sindhuja Sankaran. Title: Analysis of ion mobility spectrometer data for evaluating volatile organic compounds to detect potato rot in storage facilities
Hello, my name is Emily, and I am pursuing a degree in Genetics & Genomics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, and creating art. Mentor: Dr. Rebecca McGee. Title: Evaluating pea protein concentrate yield and functionality: A comparative study of genotype and environmental impact
Kiana Mushock is an upcoming fourth year student studying Biological Systems Engineering at the University of California, Davis. She is interested in the agricultural and bio-technical pathway and exploring experiences in the agricultural engineering fields. In addition to her academics, she is the President of the Society of Biological Engineers (SOBE), a professional and social ASABE chapter within her major. In her free time, she loves to hangout with friends or play with her four dogs! Mentor: Dr. Arron Carter. Title: Annual variation in wheat varieties Jasper, LCS Shine, Piranha CL+, and Sockeye CL+
