Shen Lab at the WSU CVM Research Symposium

We are proud of our lab members Soohyeon, Khalil, Samuel, and Anastasia for presenting their research at the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine Research Symposium!

Their posters highlighted a range of exciting projects, from recovering microbial signals in single-cell RNA-seq data and optimizing DNA extraction for low-biomass skin microbiome samples to benchmarking strain-level metagenomic analysis and exploring strain variation associated with atopic dermatitis.

It was a great opportunity to share our research, exchange ideas, and connect with the WSU research community. Congratulations to all four presenters on their hard work and excellent presentations!
