Jennifer Schwartz is a criminologist who conducts statistical analyses of community crime patterns and trends. She has published research on violence, drugs and alcohol, fraud and white-collar crime. Dr. Schwartz began her career at WSU in 2003, where she teaches Criminology and research methods courses.

Jennifer Sherman is a sociologist who focuses on rural poverty and rural communities in the Northwest. Her research relies on in-depth interviews and participant observation to gain thorough understandings of individuals’ experiences.

Clayton J. Mosher

Clay Mosher is sociologist who focused on issues of criminal and juvenile justice system processing/policy issues. He collaborated with state and local criminal/juvenile justice leaders in conducting his research, which has been funded by local, state, and the federal government, as well as by private foundations. Clay passed away January 30th, 2022.
