Agility-Related Research Publications

We have compiled a bibliography of peer-reviewed research publications related to canine agility. The bibliography includes sections on Injuries and Medical Problems, Exercise Science, and Behavior/Training/Human-Animal Bond. Agility-Related Continuing Education for Veterinary Professionals

Click this button to access the Veterinary Continuing Education catalog at Washington State University. On that page you will find links to view on-demand, RACE-approved continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians that is directly related to the unique needs of agility dogs and their handlers. Available topics, each one hour in length, include: Introduction to the Sport of Dog Agility, Injuries in Agility Dogs/Health Needs Assessment, Orthopedic Evaluation of Agility Dogs, Shoulder Injuries and Digit Injuries in Agility Dogs, Iliopsoas Injuries and Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture in Agility Dogs, and Working with the Traveling Competitor and Her Dogs.
