We are proud to congratulate Chad on the successful defense of his Ph.D. dissertation!
During his doctoral studies, Chad distinguished himself through exceptional research productivity and scientific achievement, publishing 13 papers and presenting his work at numerous professional conferences and meetings. His dedication and accomplishments were recognized in the Stewardship Science Academic Programs (SSAP) Annual, where he was selected as the 2025 student highlight for the Transuranic Chemistry Center of Research Excellence (TRUCoRE) team, along with receiving many other awards and honors throughout his Ph.D. journey.
Chad’s research on the covalency of actinide–ligand bonds and its connection to molecular reactivity has advanced our understanding of fundamental actinide chemistry and will have lasting significance for the field of nuclear chemistry.
