Dr. Ivan Popov was recently featured by Washington State University’s College of Arts and Sciences as a recipient of the Meyer Early Career Launch Fellowship.
The fellowship provides valuable support for early-career faculty, enabling them to develop new research directions, support students, strengthen collaborations, and pursue ambitious scientific questions. This support has contributed to the continued growth of the Popov Group’s computational chemistry research program at WSU, particularly its work on the electronic structure, chemical bonding, and reactivity of heavy-element systems.
Dr. Popov is grateful for the College of Arts and Sciences’ investment in early-career faculty and for the continued support of Washington State University.
