Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bioenergy and Bioproduct Engineering

We are seeking the highly motivated individual to join the research group led by Professor Hanwu Lei, Department of Biological Systems Engineering at the Washington State University. The research and development program involves process development, biomass thermochemical conversions, carbon materials, nano-catalysts, and catalysis. A successful candidate should hold a PhD degree in engineering principle (chemical, bioprocessing, bioenergy or bioproduct) with solid process engineering and chemistry background and knowledge in nano material and catalysis. Candidate should have excellent problem-solving ability and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications include: self-motivated, experience in biomass conversions with catalysis and nanocatalysts, and experience in conducting scientific experiments and data collection and analysis.
