Measure your unique personality using tests based on current personality science! Although humans have much in common, each person is also an individual, with a unique way of characteristically perceiving, feeling, and acting in the world—that is, we have personalities. Over the last 50 years, the science of personality has grown tremendously. However, many of the most popular personality measures are based on outdated theories and evidence.
Free On-Line Immediate Feedback! This website provides free on-line assessment of your personality using measures that are based on Contemporary Personality Science1. Presently, we have just one measure. But in the next couple of months, we’ll be adding additional measures.
For each test, you will receive immediate individualized feedback based on how you responded to each of the questions. Your participation for each of these tests is anonymous.
These measures will assess such important personality structures as your temperament, your current self-beliefs, and your goals.
Increase Self-Understanding! Each of these tests will provide you information that can help you to better understand your individual personality and what drives you to think, feel, and act the way you do.
Current Personality Assessment Measures:
- Current Self-Beliefs (under development)
- Goal Measure (under development)
1 More specifically, these measures are based on social cognitive theory, which represents an integrative model of personality science, drawing upon recent advances in human cognition, social psychology, and neuroscience. Drs. Albert Bandura and Walter Mischel, two of the most famous psychologists living today, are the two figures most commonly associated with the social cognitive approach. A recent integration of social cognitive theory that informs the development of this website’s personality measures was published by Daniel Cervone (2004).
