Mst Sharmin Shila
AHAMMAD completed his undergrad in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2008, and his MS degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2014. He served as a faculty member in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology from 2009 to 2019. He is currently doing research on radio-frequency/microwave circuits and systems for wireless communications. He will be joining as a Teaching Assistant at Washington State University Vancouver in fall 2023. His research interests include RF/Microwave front-end passive circuit design, RF Low Noise Amplifier, and Power Amplifier design.

Mst Sharmin Shila is a first-generation college student pursuing her Master’s in Electrical Engineering at WSU Vancouver. She completed her BSc in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh, in 2021. She is working as a Teaching Assistant at WSU Vancouver starting in the Fall of 2022. She has joined Dr. Sekhar’s research group in Summer 2023. Her current research interest is inkjet-printed flexible sensors. She loves volunteering, spending time in nature, exploring, and reading books.

Hi. My name is Sebastian Martinez. I’m on the path to becoming an Electrical Engineer at WSUV. I enjoy being out in nature whether it’s hiking, camping, or adventuring off trails. I cherish spending time with my family, dogs, and loved ones. I hope to inspire the next generation of students and leaders on becoming the best versions of themselves while finding ways to help, uplift, and impact their communities in a positive way.

My name is Leobardo Gonzalez Jimenez, but I go as Junior. I lived in Mexico for 7 years in which I learned Spanish and is my first language. I graduated from Kelso High School in 2021, while in high school I did running start and obtained my General Associate of Arts in 2021 from Lower Columbia College and played soccer for Kelso. My first job was at Applebee’s. I like to play soccer and hang out with friends. Now I’m going to WSU Vancouver to major in Electrical Engineering and plan to graduate in 2025.
