Bachir Younes graduated in 2019 with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University in Vancouver, Washington (WSUV). He is now continuing his graduate studies at WSUV and has joined the Nanomaterials-Sensor Laboratory in August 2020. He wants to research and explore wireless communication, antenna design, and signal processing. Bachir is hoping to boost his knowledge and experience in these areas with the help of his great mentor Dr. Praveen Sekhar and fellow teammates.

Rakibul Islam is a graduate student who started his MS in Electrical Engineering in Fall 2019. His research focuses on RF/Microwave passive circuit design and linearization of RF power amplifiers. From Spring 2021, he has joined Dr. Sekhar’s Nanomaterials-Sensor Laboratory group. Before that, he has worked with Dr. Arigong’s Wireless Circuit and System Research Laboratory on RF/Microwave Hilbert transformer design. His research on microstrip line-based Hilbert transformer for real-time analog signal processing applications have been published in the International Microwave Symposium 2020. Before joining WSUV, he co-authored work on light particle interaction at an interfacial medium, published on Annalen der Physik.

Asif Iftekhar Omi is a graduate student who started his MS in Electrical Engineering at Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) in Spring 2021. Simultaneously, he has joined Dr. Sekhar’s Nano Materials and Sensors Laboratory (NMSL) group. Before joining here, he accomplished his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). After graduation from BUET, he was appointed as a lecturer in the EEE Department of Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) where he taught a few undergraduate courses like Continuous Signals & Systems, Electromagnetics, Numerical Methods, and Control System. Later, with a view to contributing to the electrical industry from the 1 years’ experience of academia, he served as an Electrical Engineer in Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) Ltd. for 5 years where he worked on Substation Automation System, Fiber Optic Multiplexer and UHF Antenna. Now in the current academic sphere of WSUV, his research focuses on RF/Microwave Circuit Design and Computational Electromagnetics.
