Congratulations to Helen, Tony and Yunshu on passing their respective PhD Preliminary Exams!The exams happened on July 17 (for Helen), May 7 (for Tony) and April 26 (for Yunshu), all in 2019.

Helen Catanese won the the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine’s Elevating Mathematics Video Competition. Congratulations Helen!

It was great having Zach Cutler working with us at SCADS this summer as part of the REU Smart Environments program. Zach worked on a new version of RepeatAnalyzer, a web-based software tool for analysis and management of short sequence repeats in DNA/protein data.

Congrats to Keyvan, who successfully defended her Master’s thesis.

Our paper titled “A Signal-Level Transfer Learning Framework for Autonomous Reconfiguration of Wearable Systems” is accepted in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.
