Early Social Communication & Language Lab
Children 9 to 36 months of age:
“Behavioral Risk Factors for Autism Spectrum Disorder”
- We currently see children between 9 and 36 months of age at the following time points: 9,12,15,18,24, and 36 months.
- At each visit we conduct play-based assessments to look at multiple areas of development, such as language and social skills.
- We typically schedule 1-2 visits, with each one taking 2-3 hours in the lab.
- If you are interested, the next step would be setting up a 15 minute phone call for us to get more information about you and your child to determine if you are eligible to participate.
Children 2-12 years of age:
“Measuring Spontaneous Expressive Language Skills”
- We currently see children between 2 and 12 years of age, with and without communication disorders:
- he/she is between 2 and 5 years of age and has typically-developing language
- OR between 2 and 12 years of age with a language delay
- Participants will be asked to participate in developmentally appropriate assessments similar to those conducted in clinical practice.
- We typically schedule 1 visit for 3 hours in he lab.
