Exploring AI Governance and Teacher Literacy in Higher Education
On March 25, Dini, a CAIRE Research Assistant and doctoral student in the Language, Literacy, and Technology program, shared her research at the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) Research Showcase.

Dini has been deeply involved in CAIRE’s core research regarding “Teacher AI Literacy.” Her presentation, titled “AI Integration in Higher Education,” explored the application of AI in supporting instruction and institutional decision-making through policy and ethical lenses. She also analyzed the critical importance of enhancing educators’ AI competency in the current educational landscape.
Addressing a key “pain point” in both academia and the education sector, Dini’s presentation drew significant attention and sparked rigorous discussion among evaluators. The judges agreed that her work provides highly valuable insights into balancing technological innovation with ethical standards in higher education, demonstrating both practical relevance and forward-looking vision.
