Barley beta-glucan, glycemic control, and appetite study

The Barley beta-glucan, glycemic control, and appetite study evaluated the effects of barley beta –glucan (β-glucan) on short -term glycemic control and appetite, and aimed to characterize the potential of low vs. medium vs. high β -glucan barley to attenuate glycemic response to a high-glycemic index food.

This study is closed and was in collaboration with the Sustainable Seed Systems lab.
