Prof. Tom Jobson Atmospheric Chemistry Lab

Group picture from early days at WSU showing Will Wallace, Matt Erickson, Madeline Fuchs, Mylene Gueneron, Claudio Toro, and myself.

People from a wide range of academic backgrounds have joined the group over the years.  If you think you would like working in the lab doing experiments, going to places for field work, and working with and building instruments then you will have fun.  The research projects are often collaborative enterprises with other research groups from other disciplines.  This is a great way to learn how the world works.  In my group you will learn techniques for measuring air pollutants and learn about atmospheric chemistry.  Graduate students either take a Masters in Environmental Engineering or a Ph.D. in Engineering Science.

During the year, in particular summer, I employ undergraduate students to help with research projects.
