Anim_Sci 440 – Physiology of Domestic Animals [M] 

  • Advanced undergraduate level mammalian physiology at the organ system, organ, tissue, cellular, and molecular levels.
  • Overall goal of the course is to not only learn the intricacies of mammalian physiological processes but also understand how these processes are relevant to human and animal health.

Anim_Sci 500 – Seminar in Animal Sciences

  • Goal of the course is for students learn to develop, structure, and deliver scientific seminars to a broad scientific audience.
  • Students utilize development, peer-review, and assessment process before presenting a departmental seminar.

Anim_Sci 520 – Preparation of Scientific Literature in Animal Sciences

  • Course focuses on scientific writing in the context of grant proposals, scientific literature, and different forms of communication.
  • Team-taught course led by Dr. Kris Johnson.
