- Advanced undergraduate level mammalian physiology at the organ system, organ, tissue, cellular, and molecular levels.
- Overall goal of the course is to not only learn the intricacies of mammalian physiological processes but also understand how these processes are relevant to human and animal health.
Anim_Sci 500 – Seminar in Animal Sciences
- Goal of the course is for students learn to develop, structure, and deliver scientific seminars to a broad scientific audience.
- Students utilize development, peer-review, and assessment process before presenting a departmental seminar.
Anim_Sci 520 – Preparation of Scientific Literature in Animal Sciences
- Course focuses on scientific writing in the context of grant proposals, scientific literature, and different forms of communication.
- Team-taught course led by Dr. Kris Johnson.
