About

UREKA Purpose

Washington State University (WSU) provides a range of research opportunities for undergraduate students. The Undergraduate Research Engagement in KEP Areas (UREKA) Fellowship is designed to create a pathway for advanced undergraduates in the Department of Kinesiology and Educational Psychology.

Meet UREKA

The UREKA Fellowship program brings together a community of faculty and motivated students dedicated to the pursuit of research excellence. Through mentorship and collaboration, faculty members guide students in developing critical research skills. Students within the UREKA Fellowship embrace the opportunity to engage deeply in research under the mentorship of experienced faculty, fostering a culture of innovation and discovery.

Together, faculty and students form a dynamic partnership and make significant contributions to their respective fields.

UREKA was established with funding through the Berry Family Distinguished Professorship with Regents Professor Brian French. Please contact Brian if you would like to support or be involved in UREKA.
